Alexander Soyars — Tennis Instructor and Personal Trainer
Alexander Soyars graduated from Southampton High School in New York in 2014. A varsity athlete, he played baseball for four years, making the All-County team his junior and senior years and receiving the runner-up prize for Divisional Player of the Year in 2010 and 2011. Alexander Soyars also played youth hockey as an elementary and high school student.
After high school, Mr. Soyars played baseball for Suffolk Community College in Seiden, New York. Since 2020, he has worked as a tennis professional in the tennis division of Sportime & Fitness Club in East Quogue, New York. Working with participants in the club’s youth and adult tennis program, he plans and implements lessons on game strategy and sportsmanship.
Adept at teaching beginning through advanced tennis students, Mr. Soyars helps plan and facilitate competitions while managing business aspects of coaching. During his time with the fitness center, he has personally brought in a dozen new members.
